In Brief: Government laws to be workshop topic

OXNARD — The latest government laws and regulations will be discussed during a workshop on Government Regulations for Small Business from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Oxnard College, Room JCC-1, 4000 S. Rose Ave.

Representatives from government agencies will explain the regulations most applicable to small businesses, new laws and regulations and how to stay in compliance.

The event is offered by SCORE, a resource partner of the U. S. Small Business Administration.

Participants include the California Franchise Tax Board, Board of Equalization, Employment Development Department, Department of Industrial Relations and Internal Revenue Service.
