Free business forum to address challenges

The city of Camarillo, Camarillo Chamber of Commerce and Ventura County Star are presenting a free Business Outreach and Assistance Forum from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Thursday at the Camarillo Library, 4101 Las Posas Road.

The purpose of the forum is to hear about challenges that businesses face in this difficult economic climate, and to present organizations that may provide solutions. Types of businesses that the event is geared toward are retail, office, consultants, home-based businesses, manufacturing, storage/distribution and food services.

Representatives from several business assistance organizations will be on hand, including the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County, Ventura County Workforce Investment Board, SCORE Business Counseling, Small Business Development Center, California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, and CSU Channel Islands.
