New leadership for SCORE

Ventura County Chapter SCORE (Service Corps Of Retired Executives) has chosen Cristian Arrieta as the new chapter chair, with his term effective Oct. 1.

Arrieta will coordinate community outreach, recruiting and the chapter's small business counseling and workshop programs.

Arrieta has been with Ventura County SCORE since 2003. He has 15 years of business law experience and has held a number of offices in local civic organizations. Michael J. Scotto of Thousand Oaks will assume the post of vice chairman of the chapter.
