Are you overlooking the government sector? Learn how to conduct business with federal, state, and local governments. Although selling to the governments involves more rules and regulations, there is still a lot of business to get. This workshop will cover the steps that a small business needs to take in order to register (8A certification), and build successful relationships with government purchasing agents. Representatives from the U. S. Department of the Navy [Naval Base Ventura County], U. S. General Services Administration (GSA), State of California Department of General Services (DGS), and County of Ventura General Services Agency; will explain how to become their vendors and to discover opportunities to do business with them.
